Our flower fairies head to the market very early in the morning, so more often than not we've already collected the day's blooms by the time we've received and reviewed your order. We will always do our very best to meet specific requests, but when dealing with seasonal availability and Mother Nature herself, we can't always make any guarantees! If you have your heart set on something in particular, please reach out as far in advance as you can. This will give us the best chance of meeting your request.
All of our little jars and bunches are lovingly arranged by our expert floral designers. We're inspired by the seasons and the natural beauty of flowers, so we don't follow a strict daily design or flower formula. We believe in showcasing the natural beauty of flowers and the personalities of our florists, so every little jar is a little different. You can check out our recent jars on our socials, and follow us for updates on what we've scored at the market.

You may have also heard of our sister studio, Mary Mary, who specialise in luxe flower deliveries and offer a range of larger bouquets and arrangements.
We do! If you don't think our #littlejarofhappiness swing tag is quite appropriate for your occasion, leave us a note in the special instructions section of your order and we will arrange an alternative for you. We can organise a swing tag that reads #littlejaroflove, or a simply attach a blank swing tag to your order. The alternative tag will be attached to that day's floral design - whatever our florists are most inspired by at market.
To guarantee sympathy appropriate colours/flowers, you can also order a Little Jar of Love directly through our online store, which comes with our #littlejaroflove swing tag and a softer colour palette.
When our florists go to the market to collect the day’s blooms, they make a special effort to pick up a selection of flowers specifically for sympathy. This takes extra time, care and attention to detail to make sure the flowers in your Little Jar of Love are appropriate for the occasion.

We deliver to over 130 Melbourne suburbs within 10-15kms of the Melbourne CBD. We've put together a list of suburbs for your reference - you can check that out here. Don't see your suburb on the list? Never fear! Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll do our very best to get your blooms to where they need to go for an additional delivery fee.
We deliver from Monday to Friday (except public holidays!) and for same day delivery, orders must be placed by 11am. You can see our same day delivery suburbs here.
Our drivers are on the road delivering your blooms from 7am - 5pm. We're all about moving your orders from A to B as efficiently as possible, and starting our delivery runs at this time means we can continue to offer you flat rate delivery at competitive prices. We like to pay our drivers fairly for their time on the road, so our delivery routes and schedules are based on the most time effective options available. Of course, Melbourne traffic can be a funny thing and is often unpredictable when there are accidents or roadworks involved, so there may be instances where our drivers deliver outside these timeframes. Once your little jar has been made up by our team of experienced florists and sent off with one of our Flower Delivery Specialists, you'll receive a confirmation email to let you know your order is on the road. Unfortunately, due to the variable nature of deliveries, we are unable to guarantee the exact time your order will arrive, but you are always most welcome to check in on the status of your order by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Alas, we cannot, even though we'd really love to! We're all about moving your orders from A to B as efficiently as possible, and this means our drivers follow predetermined delivery routes. These depend on the number of orders that come in each day, and the spread of suburbs the orders cover. Of course, we endeavour to prioritise all deliveries to business addresses to ensure they arrive before 5:30pm, and all school deliveries to ensure they arrive before 3:30pm, though with the variable nature of delivery driving unfortunately we cannot make any guarantees. If you require a specific delivery time for your order, we recommend you get in touch as early as you can so we can make special arrangements to try and accommodate your request. This may incur an additional delivery fee to account for our driver's time outside their usual delivery run.
All our drivers are trained to leave the flowers in the safest possible place at the specified delivery address in the event the recipient is not home. This may be at the front door if it is reasonably well hidden from street view, or it may be in a slightly more creative place if our drivers believe it is unsafe to leave the flowers out in the open. If there is a specific spot you'd like us to leave your little jar in the event the person you're sending to isn't home, please let us know in the special instructions on your order. The more information the better (behind gates, pot plants etc)! If you're sending to a secure apartment building that requires our drivers to buzz in to gain access, please ensure someone will be home to receive the flowers. If there is no safe place to leave the flowers, our drivers will leave a calling card in the letterbox of the recipient and your order will be returned to our studio in Coburg for collection at a convenient time, or for redelivery for an additional delivery fee. Minimum redelivery fee is $15.. If you know the person you're sending to lives in a spot that may be tricky for us to access, consider providing an alternate delivery address (like a workplace or neighbours address) to ensure successful delivery.
We really wish we could, but unfortunately this is beyond the scope of our $10 flat rate delivery service. In order for us to be able to provide a low cost delivery service as well as pay our Flower Delivery Specialists fairly, our Flower Delivery Specialists are trained to make every reasonable attempt to deliver your blooms before moving on to the next delivery. A reasonable attempt includes knocking or ringing the doorbell, looking for an alternate entry to the building, searching the address online to confirm they’re in the right spot, looking for a safe place to leave the flowers (side gates, behind pot plants, inside metre boxes) and passing that information on to our customer service team.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide a delivery address that is easily accessible by our drivers, and to ensure the recipient will be home to receive a delivery to a secure building.
If our Flower Delivery Specialists have made every reasonable attempt to deliver your order and still cannot deliver it successfully (as in the case of a secure apartment building with no concierge, or a residential home that has no where safe to leave the flowers), your order will be returned to our studio for redelivery the following business day at an additional delivery fee (minimum redelivery fee $15). We will contact you via email or text to let you know your delivery has been unsuccessful, and to reschedule your delivery. Unfortunately deliveries cannot be rescheduled or redelivered to a different address at the time of the failed delivery, as our Flower Delivery Specialists follow predetermined delivery routes to keep delivery costs low.
We're so glad you asked! School and hospital deliveries require a little more time and attention from our drivers than a regular residential delivery. Finding (and often paying for) a carpark, a reception desk, an office, a bed, a ward, and navigating lifts in busy buildings, all take considerable time and concentration from our drivers in order to get your blooms where they need to go. It often involves considerable time on foot and sometimes even waiting in queues. A few extra dollars in the delivery fee to these locations helps us pay our drivers fairly for their time.
For the same reason our school and hospital deliveries incur an extra charge, CBD deliveries require a little more attention from our drivers than a regular residential delivery. Finding (and often paying for) a carpark, battling standstill city traffic and navigating lifts in busy buildings all take considerable time and concentration from our drivers in order to get your blooms where they need to go. There are often countless minutes spent walking to the delivery destination (and sometimes even time spent in queues or trying to locate a mailroom) and for this reason we ask for a few extra dollars in the delivery fee to help us pay our drivers fairly for their time.
We'll send you a confirmation email once your order is on the road, but if you'd like to find out the status of your order, please feel free to get in touch with us at email@example.com. We will then check in with our drivers (who may be at front doors, in lifts or busy driving) and get back to you as soon as we can about where your order is, whether it has been successfully delivered or when you can reasonably expect it to arrive.
Oops! Get in touch with us as soon as you realise any mistakes so we can correct the delivery details please! We ask that you carefully check all the delivery information as you enter it at the checkout, and again when you receive the confirmation of your delivery in case any errors have occurred. We will do our very best to catch your order before it is delivered, but unfortunately cannot take responsibility for orders that are delivered to the wrong location due to incorrect delivery information.
As much as you can pretty please! The more information our drivers have, they quicker they can deliver your orders and the longer we can continue to offer you the most competitively priced delivery rates. When placing your order, have a quick think about what our drivers will need to do in order to get it there safely. Is it going to an apartment? A business? Is it a secure building? Can our drivers get in if no one is home? Is there somewhere safe to leave your order? Is there a mailroom we should deliver to, or do your flowers go to reception? Is there a loading zone or a special car park? Is the access point on a different street? Anything that helps our drivers deliver your orders efficiently is very much appreciated.
Our Flower Delivery Specialists are expert at leaving your blooms in the safest possible place at their specified delivery address. If it's a hot day, they'll will do their very best to find a spot that is shaded and protected from the sun, while also making sure your little jar is safe from view of the street. We will get in touch with you to let you know where your jar has been left so you can pass on the details to the recipient. If our Flower Delivery Specialists do not have a safe place to leave your flowers, or are concerned that they may be damaged by the weather, your order will be returned to the studio for collection or redelivery at a later date.
